Which one should I start with?
If the writer is a child or a complete beginner, start with the 30th Juz. It uses the largest script and the shortest surahs. If you want to write the whole Qur’an, choose the full 30 Juz set.
Can I use a pen, or only pencil?
Both. The paper is thick enough to take ink without bleeding through to the next page, so ballpoint, gel pen and pencil all work.
